She was the daughter of Henry and Della Cable. Judy was born in Hood River, Oregon on September 5, 1946. She was raised in Wapato, Washington and graduated from Wapato High School. She married Tom Chambers and moved to the Seattle area. She worked as a teacher until her second daughter was born. She raised three children, Jolie Lofink, Jana Jiwani and Tom Chambers, Jr.
She cared for others and was a humanitarian. She volunteered in schools and eventually worked with at risk youth. When she saw a neighbnor in need, she and her husband Tom created a trust to provide basic medical supplies to low income families. For over twenty years she volunteered countless hours and traveled to many courntries with International Smile Power. Judy led the non-profit in their efforts to sustain dental health and build bridges of friendship around the world. Her smile and personality made people feel special and created a warmth that was felt thousands of miles away. She touched so many lives, inspiring peope with her quiet strength, generous nature and positive spirit.
She was a classmate and will be missed.

Judy was one of the best persons I ever knew in Wapato, and it sounds like she kept that up the rest of her life. So sorry for Tom and the rest of the family, but I hope they can remember all of the blessings she gave them and others and find peace in those memories.
